The Sugarloaf Pipeline will provide a significant boost to Melbourne’s water supply, and is a key part of the Victorian government’s three-pronged approach to securing Melbourne’s water reserves. The ‘forgotten loop’ has been the operator, who is typically trained to ‘average’ parameters to run adequately under most steady-state conditions.
