Schischek ExMax-...-F1 quarter-turn spring return rotary actuators
The Schischek ExMax-…-F1 quarter-turn spring return rotary actuators are claimed to be able to close rotary valves and dampers in less than one second. Fields of application include ball valves, butterfly valves, venting dampers and air and fire protection dampers.
The actuators have a 90° rotary angle with torques ranging from 5 to 15 Nm. The company’s self-adaptive universal power supply allows voltages from 24 to 230 V AC/ DC sensed at start-up. The control mode for this version is open/close (with or without integrated auxiliary switches) with motor running times that can be adjusted on site. Overload protection and IP66 protection class with robust aluminium housings come as standard. Stainless steel housings are available as an option.
The ExMax-…-F1 actuator is suitable for IEC Ex Zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. Also available in the range are the RedMax-…-F1 for IEC Ex Zones 2 and 22, and the InMax-…-F1 for safe zones.
