Boge Compressors has extended their CL series range of compressors by introducing 7.5, 11 and 15 kW models.

IEC 62056-21 DLMS for SCADA systems

30 July, 2009 | Ovarro

Semaphore has introduced the IEC 62056-21 Device Language Message Specification (DLMS) protocol for its T-box line of SCADA system products. This protocol is available with a T-box MS modular system when equipped with a 32-bit CPU.

Vacuum safety valve

21 July, 2009 | PIAB Vacuum Technologies

The Vactrap is a check valve which is also equipped with a built-in blow-off valve to provide quick release of an object. It is also available in a special version in which the vacuum pump and blow-off connections are interconnected (x-drilled), making it suitable for ejectors with an integrated blow-off valve, such as PIAB’s AVM models. The Vactrap can be used in an existing centralised vacuum system with external blow-off possibilities and it is also possible to get it with an integrated Pi12-2 COAX cartridge for decentralised vacuum systems.

Lifting cushion

21 July, 2009 | Air Springs Supply Pty Ltd

The Pronal CLT seamless inflatable lifting cushions incorporate the strength of kevlar textile, the same fibre used in body armour, racing tyres and racing sails.

Pneumatic grommet

21 July, 2009 | Compressed Air Australia Pty Ltd

Pipetite’s pneumatic grommet is a sealing technology suitable for use on air line penetrations through sheet steel. It can seal a connection while allowing for significant movement of the tube. Installation is simple and a large range of sizes is available.

Rodless linear drive

21 July, 2009 | Festo Pty Ltd

The DGC pneumatic linear drive is available in piston diameters from 8 to 63 mm. The rodless linear drives can be configured with plain bearings or recirculating ball bearing guides and with the option of shock absorbers and a second slide for particularly heavy loads. A common feature across the entire range is improved guidance quality, higher characteristic load values and torque capacity.

Vacuum jets

21 July, 2009 | Griffiths Components Pty Ltd

Vacuum jets are simple but effective devices which allow the movement of any fumes, dusts, powders, residues, liquids or grains without the use of pumps or electricity. They run silently, without heat and, since they have no moving parts, are free of maintenance.

Re-engineered range of small compressors

21 July, 2009 | Atlas Copco Compressors Australia

Atlas Copco has redesigned and upgraded its fixed speed compressor, the GA 11+-30, and the variable speed version, the GA 15-30 VSD. In order to better match airflow to users’ requirements and eliminate the need to oversize, it has introduced a 26 kW model which is also available with the new-generation VSD.

Ball valve

21 July, 2009 | Dwyer Omega (Aust) Pty Ltd

The series 3BV2 automated ball valves 3-way SS flange incorporates a full port design for maximum flow rates with minimal pressure drop. The ANSI 150# Flange comes in a variety of connection sizes to suit many applications.

Safety air guns

21 July, 2009 | Compressed Air Australia Pty Ltd

Exair’s single air nozzle Super Blast Safety Air Gun delivers 10,432 g of blowing force, equivalent to the force of 30 ordinary air guns. It is suitable for long-distance, wide-area blowoff, drying and cooling applications.

Safety locking handle

21 July, 2009 | Air & Hydraulic Systems Pty Ltd

The Praher Valves butterfly valves, diaphragm valves and ‘S4’ type ball valves are now supplied complete with a locking mechanism.

High-impact air nozzles

21 July, 2009 | Sprayflo Pty Ltd

The Sprayflo range of high-impact air nozzles has been extended to include 1/4 and 1/8" BSP 316 stainless steel options in five various flow rates.

Fluid connection couplings

21 July, 2009 | SMC Australia | New Zealand

The KK series fluid connection coupling provides a quick-release coupling that not only incorporates a locking function (for safer operation) but, through design, provides a minimum pressure drop.

Discrete-input transmitters

21 July, 2009 | Honeywell Process Solutions

Honeywell has added two discrete-input transmitters to its family of XYR 6000 wireless devices. The STXW 500 and the STTW 401 transmitters can convert any measurement device with a contact-closure switch input into a wireless input, enabling manufacturers to decrease costs and improve efficiency by wirelessly monitoring more processes at their plants. The transmitters are suitable for applications such as wirelessly monitoring level switches, pump status and system alarms.

Compressor controls

21 July, 2009 | Atlas Copco Compressors Australia

Atlas Copco has introduced the next generation in compressor controls to increase efficiency across its oil-injected screw compressors range 11-90 kW GA/GA+/GA VSD. The fifth generation of the Elektronikon Graphic controller (standard installed on the GA+/GA VSD) has been launched and the Energy Saving (ES) System ES6i has been expanded to control up to six variable speed drive or fixed speed compressors simultaneously. In addition, an online visualisation enables remote monitoring, allowing for anticipation of operating and maintenance needs.
