HMI controllers

Interworld has released the AHM-61x6 Series of human machine interface (HMI) controllers. Suitable for graphical machine control through the use of touch screens, these dedicated panel PCs are designed around Intel Core 2 Duo processors and provide support for desktop and embedded operating systems.

The AHM-61x6 Series combine an embedded single board computer with a TFT LCD screen housed in a compact chassis that can be panel or VESA mounted. Three models with different LCD screen sizes are available. The AHM-6106 includes a 10.4″ SVGA 800 x 600 pixel colour LCD, the AHM-6126 includes a 12.1″ SVGA 800 x 600 pixel colour LCD while the AHM-6156 features a 15″ XGA 1024 x 768 resolution screen.

All models feature Intel T5500 1.66 GHz Core 2 Duo passively cooled processors to provide fanless noise-free operation. An internal 2.5″ HDD or an externally accessible Compact Flash socket provide operating system or data storage. I/O connections include two COM ports, an ethernet port, two USB 2.0 ports, audio line out and PS/2 keyboard and mouse. The AHM-61x6 Series front panels are sealed to NEMA/IP65 specifications and when mounted in a panel are resistant to dust and water penetration. An optional sealed resistive touch screen can be installed.

The AHM-61x6 Series can be powered from a wide-range (11-28 V) DC power source.
