Small footprint signal conditioners
11 March, 2009 byIn the instrumentation world, panel space equals money. Moore Industries has addressed this requirement for narrow instruments with the miniMoore family of multi-channel analog signal conditioners. These signal conditioners deliver up to four low-cost I/O channels in a 25.4 mm footprint, which equates to 6.35 mm per channel.
Programmable universal signal conditioners
24 February, 2009The Red Lion DIN rail mounted signal conditioners provide complete isolation and conversion capability to satisfy most applications. The universal input can accept RTD, TC, Ohm, Potentiometer, mA, VDC and Process signals.
Eaton Industries DIN rail power supplies
01 December, 2008With global certifications, compact size and an impressive operating temperature range, the PSG series of 24 VDC power supplies fits a wide variety of applications.
Universal signal conditioner
01 November, 2008The loop-powered eLINE LPI signal conditioner works with most standard signal types, in one unit without jumpers (milliamps, millivolts, volts, thermocouple, RTD and resistance).
SDR-240 DIN rail power supply
05 October, 2008Meanwell Enterprises has launched the first model in its slim DIN rail product series, the SDR-240, for the growing demand of high-performance DIN rail power supplies. The slim design of 63.5 mm in width helps save precious space on the rail and makes it 42.8% smaller in size in comparison to the previous model.
Analog interface modules
05 September, 2008Turck has introduced the IMS interface module, designed to provide a cost-effective solution for analog signal conversion. The IMS interface module measures 6.2 mm wide, featuring one of the smallest profiles on the market today.
Schneider Electric acquires Xantrex
30 July, 2008Schneider Electric has signed a definitive arrangement agreement with Xantrex Technology to acquire all of its common shares.
MeanWell DIN rail power supply
08 July, 2008MeanWell has launched a slim switching power supply, the MDR-10 series, for low-wattage DIN rail (TS-35/7.5 or 15) applications. Available in 5, 12, 15 and 24 V and up to 2 A, the 10 W Class I models are enclosed within a slim 22.5 mm isolated plastic case and feature a universal AC input and include short-circuit, overload and overvoltage protection.
MDR-10 series DIN rail power supply
01 July, 2008MeanWell has launched a slim switching power supply, the MDR-10 series, for low-wattage DIN rail (TS-35/7.5 or 15) applications.
Schneider and Fuji form joint venture in Japan
03 April, 2008Schneider Electric and Fuji Electric have expanded their joint venture program to include operations in Japan and Asia.
ADM Instrument Engineering DIN rail power supply
19 March, 2008ADM Instrument Engineering has introduced the Meanwell DR100 100 W power supply. A DIN rail-mount power supply, that will fit into a fuse box type enclosure, with Class II insulation level (double insulated, no earth wire is required), the DR-100 series provides a plastic case that is free from hazardous leakage current and is up to 89% efficient. It has an input voltage range of 88-264 VAC and 124-370 VDC. The output voltages are 12, 15 and 24 VDC at 100 W. To compensate for wiring voltage drops, the output voltage can be adjusted from the front panel, and the coloured LED indicator also gives an immediate visual conformation of the DC output status.
ISCX3 signal isolator
19 March, 2008The ISCX3 is a signal isolator that accepts a 4-20 mA with an input impedance of 50W or 0-10 VDC with an input impedance of 20 kW and provides three isolated output channels of 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC with an accuracy of 0.1%.
Surge protection devices
20 February, 2008Weidmüller's PU I series of Class I surge protectors with varistor technology offers a discharge capacity of 12.5 kA (10/350 µs). The pluggable, self-monitoring surge voltage arresters are optionally available as 1-, 3-, or 4-pole versions and with optional remote signalling contacts.
Lower electricity consumption
17 April, 2007Goldway Energy has developed a retrofit product that refines, controls and modulates electricity to reduce costs for businesses of all types.
