The Mean Well SDR-120 is an AC/DC isolation Class I DIN rail power unit.

Current loop isolators

21 August, 2009 by

Omniflex has introduced three signal isolators in the Omniterm LZ series with integrated 10 kA 8/20 µs surge arrestors to cater for applications that require both loop isolation and surge protection. The LZ series combines both functions in under 12 mm per channel of DIN rail space.

Strain gauge signal conditioner

09 June, 2009

Weidmüller’s ACT20P range of signal isolators now contains a strain gauge signal conditioner. The ACT20P-Bridge combines small size with state-of-the-art technology providing simple programming, non interacting calibration points plus front panel or external tare function.

Switchmode power supplies

18 May, 2009 by

The PRO-M range of switchmode power supplies offers space saving of up to 50% and no ventilation gap is required between multiple units, so that the PRO-M will squeeze into tight switchboards or machines.

40 A power supplies

11 May, 2009 by

Siemens has added a compact 40 A basic unit to its Sitop modular power supply series. It is 150 mm wide, which is 90 mm narrower than the previous unit. The 20 A power supply has also been renewed and is now 70 mm wide. The two Sitop PSU300M standard mounting rail power supplies for connection to three-phase 400-500 VAC networks now have a wider range input (from 320 to 575 VAC) than previous versions and they provide a reliable 24 V supply even when there are large deviations in the mains supply. The user now simply evaluates the ‘DC 24 V OK’ operating mode via an integrated dry signalling contact.

Transmitter trip-amplifier

01 April, 2009 by

The Wave TTA Transmitter Trip-Amplifier is programmable to suit any common DC input type.

Power supplies

Harting pCon 2000 series power supplies are designed for control cabinet installation.

Small footprint signal conditioners

11 March, 2009 by

In the instrumentation world, panel space equals money. Moore Industries has addressed this requirement for narrow instruments with the miniMoore family of multi-channel analog signal conditioners. These signal conditioners deliver up to four low-cost I/O channels in a 25.4 mm footprint, which equates to 6.35 mm per channel.

Programmable universal signal conditioners

24 February, 2009

The Red Lion DIN rail mounted signal conditioners provide complete isolation and conversion capability to satisfy most applications. The universal input can accept RTD, TC, Ohm, Potentiometer, mA, VDC and Process signals.

Eaton Industries DIN rail power supplies

01 December, 2008

With global certifications, compact size and an impressive operating temperature range, the PSG series of 24 VDC power supplies fits a wide variety of applications.

Universal signal conditioner

01 November, 2008

The loop-powered eLINE LPI signal conditioner works with most standard signal types, in one unit without jumpers (milliamps, millivolts, volts, thermocouple, RTD and resistance).

SDR-240 DIN rail power supply

05 October, 2008

Meanwell Enterprises has launched the first model in its slim DIN rail product series, the SDR-240, for the growing demand of high-performance DIN rail power supplies. The slim design of 63.5 mm in width helps save precious space on the rail and makes it 42.8% smaller in size in comparison to the previous model.

Analog interface modules

05 September, 2008

Turck has introduced the IMS interface module, designed to provide a cost-effective solution for analog signal conversion. The IMS interface module measures 6.2 mm wide, featuring one of the smallest profiles on the market today.
