FEAS SNT50 series switchmode power supplies

20 July, 2010 by

The SNT50 series switchmode power supplies from FEAS are claimed to feature good radio shielding and high reliability integrated into a functional and stable casing.

FEAS SSE90 power supply with integrated buffer module

17 May, 2010 by

The FEAS SSE90 power supply with integrated buffer module combines a compact switchmode power supply with a maintenance-free buffer module that uses high-capacity double-layer capacitors as storage elements.

FEAS Accupack LDR4012 and LDR4024 buffered power supplies

24 March, 2010 by

FEAS Accupack LDR4012 and LDR4024 are made with charging regulators and serve to buffer 12 and 24 V systems. The Accupack LDR is designed to be connected between the line voltage and the installation in order to provide DC to the equipment. In the event of a mains power failure, the onboard sealed batteries supply the system, connected to the outlet. The supply duration depends on the load current of the consumer. The batteries can be easily replaced if necessary.

Metal Work Pneumatic Pneumo-Power pneumatic power supply

10 March, 2010 by

Pneumo-Power is a product that incorporates an electric generator powered either by exhaust air (reduced environmental impact) or a compressed air supply to create 24 VDC locally where wiring may be costly or impractical to install.

Wago 857 Series Jumplex transducer and relay modules

07 February, 2010 by

The Wago 857 Series Jumplex transducer and relay modules have a compact design, with 6.0 mm width, and can operate over a temperature range from -25 to 70°C.

Prevent 24 VDC overloads from stopping production

30 January, 2010 by Kai Bronzel

Along with the laws of physics, engineers have to be aware of the law of unintended consequences. Take, for example, something as simple as the 24 VDC power supplies that feed the control circuits in automation systems as a case in point.

Banner Engineering BWA-SOLAR-001 FlexPower solar supply

15 January, 2010 by

Banner Engineering has released the FlexPower solar supply, BWA-SOLAR-001, specifically designed for powering SureCross wireless network devices.

Zener diode barriers

10 November, 2009 by

Turck has introduced MZB series Zener diode barriers, designed to effectively limit excess energy before it reaches a hazardous area. The MZB barriers provide removable terminals within an efficient and space-saving design - with channels as small as 6.3 mm wide - to consume minimal panel space. Additionally, the MZB series features a bussed power feed and offers both relay and solid-state switch models.

DIN rail power supplies

29 September, 2009 by

The PBAMR Series 10-92W is a range of Class II output DIN rail switching power supplies suited to building automation, factory automation, semiconductor fabrication equipment, marine installation and electromechanical applications with medium to high power demand. The series is available in 7.5, 15, 22.5 and 35 W models.

SDR-120 DIN rail power supply

29 September, 2009

The Mean Well SDR-120 is an AC/DC isolation Class I DIN rail power unit.

Current loop isolators

21 August, 2009 by

Omniflex has introduced three signal isolators in the Omniterm LZ series with integrated 10 kA 8/20 µs surge arrestors to cater for applications that require both loop isolation and surge protection. The LZ series combines both functions in under 12 mm per channel of DIN rail space.

Strain gauge signal conditioner

09 June, 2009

Weidmüller’s ACT20P range of signal isolators now contains a strain gauge signal conditioner. The ACT20P-Bridge combines small size with state-of-the-art technology providing simple programming, non interacting calibration points plus front panel or external tare function.

Switchmode power supplies

18 May, 2009 by

The PRO-M range of switchmode power supplies offers space saving of up to 50% and no ventilation gap is required between multiple units, so that the PRO-M will squeeze into tight switchboards or machines.

40 A power supplies

11 May, 2009 by

Siemens has added a compact 40 A basic unit to its Sitop modular power supply series. It is 150 mm wide, which is 90 mm narrower than the previous unit. The 20 A power supply has also been renewed and is now 70 mm wide. The two Sitop PSU300M standard mounting rail power supplies for connection to three-phase 400-500 VAC networks now have a wider range input (from 320 to 575 VAC) than previous versions and they provide a reliable 24 V supply even when there are large deviations in the mains supply. The user now simply evaluates the ‘DC 24 V OK’ operating mode via an integrated dry signalling contact.

Transmitter trip-amplifier

01 April, 2009 by
