MeanWell has launched a slim switching power supply, the MDR-10 series, for low-wattage DIN rail (TS-35/7.5 or 15) applications. Available in 5, 12, 15 and 24 V and up to 2 A, the 10 W Class I models are enclosed within a slim 22.5 mm isolated plastic case and feature a universal AC input and include short-circuit, overload and overvoltage protection. With up to 85% efficiency, this series is cooled by free air convection up to 70°C, which increases reliability and lifetime. Another feature of the MDR-10 is its low no-load power consumption of less than 0.75 W, which suits green power or energy saving.
The DC OK signal output for monitoring the status of PSU and the LED Power On indicator are standard features. Typical applications includes factory automation, process control, sensors, the electromechanical industry, data communications and IT.
The MDR-10 is certified by UL, CUL, TÜV, CE and CB.
