Washdown vision sensor

Banner Engineering has introduced the PresencePlus P4 IP68-rated, sealed Omni vision sensor. Featuring a compact, durable, nickel-plated, aluminium housing, the P4 Sealed Omni vision sensor is designed to withstand washdown conditions, as well as dust and debris common in harsh-duty environments with the use of an integrated ring light or lens cover.

The vision sensor is designed for quality inspections in challenging automotive, assembly, food handling, printing, pharmaceutical and packaging applications. It is also suitable for aseptic and industrial cleanroom environments.

The sensor offers an intuitive set-up procedure and common graphical interface, supporting nine languages, and interfaces include ethernet, serial, flexible discrete I/O and real-time video output. It exports inspections, images and results using the Microsoft ActiveX platform.
