Vacuum switches

The VS4128 and VS4118 mini vacuum switches have been developed for industries and applications with high demands on durability, such as automotive body-in-white assembly. These aluminium switches are part of Piab’s program of vacuum pumps for decentralised systems. They are preset switches with digital output and built-in LED that indicates status.

The new compact format with the G1/8" 90° angle swivel connection facilitates easy installation, easy adjustment to the right position and eliminates the need for an extra fitting. The electric connection plug can be M8 3 pin or M12 4 pin, and it is possible to connect several serially to provide a common output. PNP NO/NC and NPN NO/NC output functions are available.

A switch junction box is also available as a complement to the VS4128. The junction box provides one or two signal outputs from up to 12 vacuum switches. Customers can change from an existing centralised vacuum pump with sensing to a decentralised vacuum system with vacuum switches on each cup, without reprogramming the PLC or controller.
