PCA now has available a full range of Ex-certified shaft encoders from Scancon of Denmark, a leader in the Ex field of products.

Housings are available with hollow shaft or solid shaft mechanical mounting; the housing can be constructed of either aluminum or stainless steel.

Output formats include normal square wave incremental and a range of serial protocols: Can, Profibus, DeviceNET and SSI.

Scancon encoders type series EXAG are classified according to Ex II 2 G/D EEx d II C T6.
