ABB has introduced a USB disk drive replacement kit for its robot controllers models S4 to S4C. The kit is a package upgrade solution that replaces existing and often unreliable, hard to source floppy disk drive unit, and disks with a USB connection point. The kit lets users transfer all their stored programs and data to a standard USB memory stick and also provides a connection point for a PC.
