The Pilz PMCtendo SZ servomotors are now available in different cooling types. Due to their short overall length and low weight, all the servo motors have a high power density. PMCtendo SZs are characterised by quiet operation and high process quality due to low cogging torques. As a result, the servomotors are suitable for use in applications with onboard axes and in cramped conditions. They are suitable for all drive solutions in a variety of industries.

PMCtendo SZs have optimised heat dissipation, ensuring high performance. High-resolution absolute value encoder systems provide high performance and absolute positioning. With their high efficiency factor, these servomotors exceed the requirements of the international efficiency class IE 4.

All motors are available with different cooling types - as water coolers, with external fans or with natural convection. The models with external fans offer considerably higher performance, as do the water-cooled motors, which achieve around 35% higher performance than the basic convection model. The latter can also be used with high ambient temperatures, without any loss in performance.
