Powerful process and dialog modules for operation and visualisation in mobile machines are becoming increasingly important. To meet these requirements, ifm efector has released the PDM360 NG-12, with a high-resolution modern 12.1″ graphic display, a powerful 32-bit controller, readability and flexible programming.

Advanced optical bonding technology eliminates the clearance between the front glass and the display to prevent interfering condensation and improve readability of the display under different viewing angles. Protected by a scratch-resistant glass pane, the 12.1″ TFT display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels ensures clarity even under harsh sunlight conditions.The PDM360 NG-12 also provides backlit function keys and a navigation key with tactile feedback.

The flat and fully sealed die-cast zinc housing with an IP65/IP67 protection rating makes the PDM360 NG-12 suitable for outdoor use and also in cabins, for surface or panel mounting. Additionally, four CAN interfaces with CANopen and SAE J1939 protocol, an internal mass storage, USB interface and interfaces for analog cameras ensure universal and flexible use.
