Versatile rack mount keyboard monitor drawers

Interworld Electronics has released the SMK Series 1U industrial LCD monitor keyboard drawers. The SMK Series combines a display, a keyboard with built-in pointing device and a KVM Switch in a compact unit that measures 1U in height.

Models are available with 17” or 19” high brightness, high contrast, fast response VGA LCD screens. The LCD screen can be tilted and retracted on slide rails into the 1U 19" rack mount cabinet.

The standard SMK Series keyboard provides 105 keys and integrates a separate numeric keypad and twelve function keys. A single cable from the SMK to each computer carries the VGA, Keyboard and Touchpad signals reducing the need for complex wiring looms.

The SMK Series includes three basic models. The SMK-920 single port USB only keyboard monitor drawer and the SMK-980 or SMK-990 with built in 8-port or 16-port KVM switches that support both PS/2 and USB connections.
