Teralba Coilflo miniature heat exchangers

Teralba Industries have released a miniature heat exchanger for the heating, sterilising or cooling of any fluid stream, liquid sample or pumpable product.

Coilflo is an Australian designed and manufactured, fully welded heat exchanger which has applications across the food, dairy, beverage, chemical, pharmaceutical, HVAC and brewing industries. Suitable for processing low flows and sample batches, the heat exchangers are compact and sanitary enough to be utilised in laboratories.

The micro heat exchangers retain the high efficiency heat transfer coefficients of the company’s Dimpleflo heat exchangers in a compact, self-draining configuration.

The cylindrical profile of the heat exchangers is designed to promote a highly turbulent flow to maximise heat transfer. The units have a free-draining, fully welded design to provide maximum product integrity. They can be constructed using duplex stainless steel, titanium and internally mirror-finished tube.
