Power pack

Larzep Australia has released the 240 V power pack with an ‘auto retract function’. This time-saving innovation is suited to applications that require automatic retraction of a single acting cylinder. This is suitable for tools such as crimpers, punches, cutters, nut splitters etc, where the tool has completed the required function and automatically retracts ready for the next cycle. Control of the power pack is by a remote handheld pendant and has a simple push-button on/off control. The innovation simplifies the work process, improves worker ergonomics and increases productivity. The range of electric power packs now includes three-phase, single-phase and DC battery units. The lightweight portable power packs in 240 V or DC battery packs start at 6 kg for the DC model and the 240 V unit weighs 8.7 kg. The full range now includes options such as single-acting, double-acting or ‘auto retract’ control with a large range of tank sizes, manual, solenoid or pendant control and three voltage options to meet all requirements. Pump styles include single or two speed with a range of flow options to choose from. The power packs are suitable for a range of environments from a mine site, on a building project or in a remote environment.
