The Dali TE thermal imaging camera is claimed to be priced to be affordable as an everyday tool rather than a high-priced instrument with limited use by consultants and specialist engineers.

The Dali TE is a 160 x 120 resolution thermal imaging camera with a temperature range of -20 °C to +250 °C and laser pointer. It is suitable as a service tool for everyday electrical, industrial and HVAC applications.

The TE offers a number of measurement modes, including moveable spot, moveable area (maximum, minimum and average), isotherm and alarm function. It also provides a choice of three palettes. Emissivity is variable from 0.01 to 1.0 or can be selected from a predefined materials list. Around 100 images can be stored on the built-in flash memory and are downloaded to PC via USB. The thermal images are saved as 14-bit radiometric jpegs and include all measurement data when downloaded to PC. Battery life is three hours and the unit is supplied with two Li-Ion rechargeable battery modules and intelligent fast charger.

The TE is supplied with Dali Infrared Reporter software, a full function reporting and analysis software package. Users have full post-analysis functions including maximum, minimum, average, line profile and histogram. The software also provides multi-page report generation and user-customisable templates. Users can also easily link visible light images taken with photographic cameras.
