42510 infrared thermometer

Sunday, 05 December, 2004 | Supplied by: AMS Instrumentation & Calibration Pty Ltd

Extech's wide range infrared (IR) thermometer, model 42510, measures from -50 to 538°C with 0.1° resolution.

A built-in laser pointer pinpoints the area to be measured. The large LCD is backlit so that readings can be taken at night or in areas with low light levels. Automatic data hold freezes the display and there is an overrange indicator. Fixed emissivity (0.95) covers 90% of the surface temperature applications. The unit's small size and light weight mean it is easily carried around and is always handy for a quick temperature check.
