The MTE MATRIX D series harmonic filters provide high-performance filters that are not only significantly smaller in volumetric size but weigh less through magnetic circuit design which helps to reduce their cost.
The filters cut heat dissipation in cables, busbars and switchboards and reduce load on substation transformers as well as provide dynamic performance. They can be used to deal with massive line transients such as occurs in 400 kW drives for mine dewatering pumps.
The D series harmonic mitigating reactor has a common core-based filter. The D series with its unitary magnetic circuit topology represents a refinement over the series B while being as reliable.
The series is available as 415 and 690 filters with line current rating from 6 to 786 A.
