Until now, many machines and devices in the processing industries, particularly food and beverage, have been permanently wired due to the environmental conditions. Highly resistant to aggressive substances, the Han-Inox housings made of high-grade stainless steel have been developed for applications in these areas.

The corrosion-resistant and food-safe Han 3A Inox housings are able to be assembled with all inserts for size 3A. Han 3A Inox offers the prerequisite to implement modern wiring concepts in these areas, in which no common solution exists up until now.

The multiple possible combinations of Han-Inox housings with standard Harting contact inserts cover a wide range of possible uses. Applications in the food and packaging industries are just one aspect.

In conjunction with the Han-Modular system, the way is now open to address a wide variety of potential applications from proprietary sensor and actuator solutions (for example pickups, limit switches, drives, etc) through to control systems at central network levels (bus system communications).

The use of corrosion-resistant stainless steels is of elementary importance wherever components are required to meet maximum safety and security standards. Besides those mentioned above, other typical areas of application include the aerospace industry, transport, shipbuilding, mining, the onshore and offshore industry and construction.
