Dodge ISN end covers

A range of end covers has been introduced to the Dodge ISN bearing range. They are designed to provide an additional barrier to contamination in harsh applications.

The Dodge ISN end covers are available in four different styles: closed front cover, open front cover, open back cover and closed back cover. They are designed as a press fit into the standard Dodge ISN housing without any modification.

These end covers are constructed of steel (for the closed covers) and steel with a rubber or polyurethane seal (for the open covers).

In applications subjected to constant high-pressure washing or on tail-shafts ‘buried’ under product, the standard Dodge Trident seal may not be sufficient to protect from contamination. In these circumstances the addition of end covers can significantly enhance the life expectancy of the bearings and thus decrease the maintenance requirements, which will reduce downtime and therefore increase production.
