Phoenix Contact cable glands

Phoenix Contact has extended its range in the field of cable routing with new cable glands. The product range is suitable for both normal industrial environments as well as for hazardous areas.

The cable glands are made from nickel-plated brass or plastic and EMC versions are available with various thread dimensions. They provide IP68 and IP69k protection from environmental factors. This means that the screw connections can be used in a wide range of industrial applications in harsh environments. The items extend product groups such as the robust Heavycon connectors and the CES cable entry system.

The range for hazardous areas has been certified three times (Ex e, Ex d, Ex nR), and can be used in connection with non-reinforced cables and armoured cables and thereby achieve IP66, IP67, and IP68 protection. Due to numerous international approvals, the screw connections are suitable for various applications, including in the areas of oil and gas, the petrochemical industry, shipping, and offshore.
