Swagelok RHPS Series TBRS and TBVS low-pressure gas regulators

12 July, 2011 | Swagelok Corporation

Swagelok RHPS Series TBRS and TBVS model regulators are designed to provide accurate pressure control in low-pressure gas systems. One common application is accurate control of a blanketing (inert) gas in a closed tank or vessel. Installed on a tank’s inlet and outlet, the TBRS (inlet) and TBVS (outlet) regulators maintain a tank’s blanketing gas at a constant pressure.

Pepperl+Fuchs intrinsically safe transmitter power supplies

07 July, 2011 | Pepperl+Fuchs (Aust) Pty Ltd

Pepperl+Fuchs has released four transmitter power supplies for intrinsically safe applications up to SIL3. The transmitter power supplies for the K- and H-Systems have each been extended to include two additional modules that are designed for intrinsically safe applications up to SIL 3 according to EN61508. The advantage of these supplies is that only a single transmitter is required to construct an intrinsically safe signal circuit for SIL 3. Previously for SIL 3 this was only possible using two separate inputs, both of which had to be monitored for redundancy reasons. Internal diagnostic functions are also signalled via a single output and red LED, and prescribed test intervals can be extended for SIL 2 applications.
