ICP DAS HRT-711-Modbus/TCP to HART protocol gateway

Wednesday, 17 September, 2014 | Supplied by: ICP Electronics Australia Pty Ltd

The ICP DAS HRT-711-Modbus/TCP to HART protocol gateway allows the Modbus/TCP Master to access HART Slave devices. These HART devices may be a transmitter, an actuator, a current output device and so forth. By using the HRT-711, users can integrate their HART devices into a Modbus network.

Furthermore, the HRT-711 can be applied in the various hash environments due to its high isolation protection design. This design feature allows users to widely integrate this device into a number of applications such as remote data acquisition, control, process automation and factory automation.

The HRT-711 supports HART Short and Long frames, as well as HART Burst Mode, and allows for two HART Masters. It also supports Modbus Slave/HART Master Mode, and online replacement of HART devices.

The DIN rail- or wall-mounting HRT-711 also supports firmware updates via its serial port.
