Weidmuller industrial ethernet switches
The function of the ethernet system is more critical than ever, providing the backbone for communications from PLC/DCS to I/O, variable speed drives, vision systems, and all field devices with benefits of industry standard connection, cabling methods and network structure. The Weidmuller industrial ethernet switches feature an IP40 robust metal case with no cooling holes to reduce foreign object failures and standard operation is from -45 to +85°C.
Other features include protection from EMC-related noise to level 4, providing zero dropped packets inside the switch, increasing the reliability of ethernet performance as a backbone to all plant functions against electromagnetic interference. Combined with dual redundant power supply of 18-72 VDC/18-50 VAC, combined with an MTBF of greater than 29 years.
