Pepperl+Fuchs KCD2-VR4-Ex1 isolated barrier
The Pepperl+Fuchs KCD2-VR4-Ex1 isolated barrier is designed for use in real-time condition monitoring of machine bearings in hazardous areas. It is used to transmit high-frequency sensor signals from hazardous areas to control systems without distortion, supporting vibration, displacement, acceleration, seismic and magnetic sensors, including those without their own power supply.
With international certifications such as ATEX, IECEx, UL and CCC, and suitability for safety-related applications up to SIL 2, it is designed to operate in extreme temperatures from -40°C to 70°C. Its galvanic isolation and high 20 kHz cut-off frequency allow for accurate signal transmission, while front-panel DIP switches allow easy configuration and identification of settings even when installed.
