Moog Machine Controller Series 600

The Moog Machine Controller Series 600 includes a CPU with fast processing speed, a range of digital and high-resolution analog I/Os, sensor modules and integrated temperature control as well as various fieldbus communications modules. A range of HMIs is also offered, including one directly driven by the controller or a separate PC-based HMI. All modules are programmed in the same programming environment, the Moog Application Software Suite (MASS).

The controller runs on a Linux-based real-time operating system that offers fast reaction times and high frequency execution of tasks. Fast sampling analog 16-bit I/O resolution and 2 Mbps sensor acquisition provide the basis for highly accurate control and positioning.

The Moog Application Software Suite complies with the IEC 61131-3 standard for programming languages and features additional libraries, plug-ins and programming capabilities that are suited to applications such as the control of injection-moulding and blow-moulding machines.

The modular design of the Moog Machine Controller means that it can be configured according to the specific application. For greater flexibility, it can be used both in centralised and decentralised control architectures. Special modules and software libraries are available for customer-specific solutions.

The controller features an extended temperature range of -20 to +70°C, low power consumption technology and robust construction, making them suitable for use in demanding industrial environments.

In addition to injection- and blow-moulding machinery, the Series 600 can be used for a range of general industrial control, especially where requirements include fast cycle time, high precision and maximum flexibility.
