Monnit ALTA propane tank monitor

The ALTA Propane Tank Monitor from Monnit has been developed to enable propane distributors and energy firms to check the levels of propane tanks remotely.

The sensor enables these industries to switch from schedule-based to needs-based deliveries and eliminate time and expense spent physically checking tanks for sufficient propane levels, and wear and tear on service vehicles.

The propane tank monitor transmits exact tank readings by integrating with both Sr and Jr R3D Remote Ready gauges (magnetically driven, Hall Effect compatible dials).

Sensor features include configurable text, email and call alerts, a range of more than 350 m (through up to 12 walls), a battery life of 12 years (AA battery models), bank-level encryption for data protection and global frequencies for international use.

Preventing propane tanks from running dry eliminates the extra time required to reinitialise customer propane systems, thereby saving customers a loss of service.
