Leuze electronic LRS 36 and LPS 36 light-section profile sensors
The LRS 36 and LPS 36 light-section profile sensors from Leuze electronic are designed for economical object detection over long measurement ranges from 200 to 800 mm. The transmitters and receivers are contained in one easy-to-install unit with a compact but robust housing design.
The line range sensors (LRS) detect the presence of objects through scanning, similar to light barriers or laser scanners. By comparison, the line profile sensors (LPS) measure the dimensions or position of static or moving objects. Where previously complex sensor solutions, sensor combinations or additional evaluation units were necessary, the LRS 36 and LPS 36 light-section sensors are designed to simplify application.
