Relpol MR-ET1P temperature monitoring relay
Relpol has released the MR-ET1P temperature monitoring relay to the Australian market. Sometimes known as a PTC or thermistor relay, these devices monitor the temperature of a motor winding by use of up to six PTC thermistors. If an overheat condition is detected, the single-pole, changeover contacts operate and the motor control can be shut down in time to save the motor from costly damage.
Other features of this relay include DIN rail mounting, monitoring for a short circuit or wire break condition in the thermistor line, the option of an external reset input and a built-in test function with integrated test/reset key on the front panel.
