ARC EARTHRING shaft grounding rings
The ARC EARTHRING is a shaft earthing ring designed to protect electric motor bearings from bearing fluting generated by modern-day variable speed drive systems.
The ARC range of fully adjustable shaft grounding rings is available in both low-voltage (under 400 kW, 600 V) and high-voltage designs, and can be produced to cover all shaft sizes from 20 mm through to 400 mm in 20 mm increments.
The ARC EARTHRINGS protect motor bearings by diverting damaging discharge voltages to the motor frame and not via the motor bearings. Using highly conductive microfibres, including gold clusters, the ARC EARTHRINGS are said to provide optimal bearing protection in harsh and arduous environments.
