EMC-protected housings for Phoenix Contact Heavycon EVO heavy-duty industrial connectors

Phoenix Contact has now added EMC-protected versions to its line of Heavycon EVO heavy-duty industrial connectors. The cable glands with a bayonet locking mechanism make both lateral and straight cable outlet directions possible in a single housing. This enables a large number of ECM housing and cable gland variations to be created with just a few components.

The cable outlet can also be subsequently adapted on-site. The housing material is corrosion resistant, and all seals are electrically conductive. This provides a shield attenuation of approximately 40 dB, which is sufficient for industrial EMC applications. The IP65/66-compliant housings are available in the B6, B10, B16 and B24 formats with a single- or double-locking latch. The housings can be purchased individually and are available in stock as complete plug-in connector sets with push-in contact inserts.
