The Olympus IPLEX RX is a battery-powered videoscope that provides high image quality with a user-friendly, portable design. It is available to rent from TechRentals.

It is suitable for inspecting heat exchangers, turbines, gearboxes, automotive parts and aircraft. It allows the user to record images and movies in high quality using the large 6.5″ monitor and 3.5 m x 4 mm insertion tube. The IPLEX RX features TrueFeel articulation and Tapered Flex technology, achieving smooth navigation through intricate parts.

The IPLEX RX is a rugged and durable instrument that is compliant with MIL-STD and IP55. Weighing only 2.9 kg (including the 2 h Li-ion battery), it is operable in temperatures up to 100°C.

Additionally, the IPLEX RX includes stereo measurement functionality for defect measurements from various angles, and InHelp data management and reporting software which streamlines many aspects of remote visual inspections. The software organises stored images and generates detailed inspection reports on a PC with simple click operation, greatly improving work efficiency.
