Calog-Temperature is a portable multifunction calibrator for troubleshooting and calibrating process control instrumentation.

Using the simultaneous isolated combination of Tc or RTD sourcing and mA measuring allows the calibration of any Tc/mA or RTD/mA temperature transmitter. Calog-Temperature sources and measures 10 types of thermocouples and seven types of resistance temperature detectors. In addition, Calog-Temperature measures mA while sourcing or simulating mV, thermocouples, RTDs or ohms, in order to calibrate transmitters.

The mA measurement may be passive with a remote supply or active with Calog-Temperature generating the 24 V 2-wire loop supply. For monitoring over a period of time, Calog calibrators may be set in trend mode with a selectable time-base to graph temperature profiles, making it suitable for testing ovens or for optimising PID temperature controllers.

Data may be logged to the removable SD card in CSV format with user-selectable data fields and time-base, also retrievable via the USB port.

Thermocouple cold junction compensation may be set for internal or external measurement, or entered manually. Calog-Temperature is supplied with a carry case, operating manual, factory calibration certificate, four test leads, SD card, battery charger, and plug-on Tc bare-wire cold-junction module.

The small size, rugged design, rubber protective boot, high precision and long-lasting rechargeable Li-ion battery pack makes Calog-Temperature suitable for industrial field calibration.
