NSW offering manufacturing funding opportunity
The NSW Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) has recently launched the NSW Net Zero Manufacturing Initiative. The current round of funding is providing up to $275 million across three programs:
- Clean Technology Innovation: Up to $25 million funding available across two streams to accelerate research, development and commercialisation of emerging clean technologies.
- Low Carbon Product Manufacturing: Up to $100 million funding available across two streams to expand and increase local manufacturing capacity of low-carbon products and materials.

Renewable Manufacturing: Up to $150 million funding available across one stream to expand and increase local manufacturing capacity of components for renewable energy.
The funding is available to companies that have proposed projects based in NSW or are partnering with a NSW-based company. To assist companies to understand their eligibility, there is an eligibility checker on the Net Zero Manufacturing Initiative website.
