Dragos announces Melbourne cybersecurity event
Industrial cybersecurity company Dragos has announced the Australian Dragos Industrial Security Conference (DISC) event, to be held on Thursday, 30 November 2023 in Melbourne.
The event is exclusively for industrial infrastructure asset owners or operators in utilities, oil and gas, water, transport, maritime, chemicals, food and beverage, mining and other industrial environments.
Dragos said the event will present research on ICS threats, malware, incidents and vulnerabilities conducted by the company’s intelligence and threat operations teams. The program is technical and research-oriented, containing lessons learned from the field. This content is presented as a day-long series of presentations opened by Dragos CEO Robert M. Lee, focused on the current threat landscape in our region.
Dragos said that those attending will have the opportunity to learn about:
- current ICS-specific cyberthreats in a non-recorded, closed-door atmosphere
- the latest ICS security controls, assessment methodologies and best practices
- recent ICS vulnerabilities and how to leverage them correctly
- a technical and practitioner view of ICS threat operations
- ICS incident response case studies and lessons learned.
Attendees will be able to network with fellow asset owners and operators as well as Dragos customers and partners.
Due to the sensitivity of the information shared, the exclusive content presented will not be recorded or publicly available afterwards.
