The WE-2100T is a compact switch module from Moxa that can be installed in a remote serial device for an instant WLAN connection. It has a small form factor that is about half the size of a credit card, so it can be embedded into almost any type of device. TCP/IP and wireless security protocols are built into the WE-2100T for fast integration, saving programming time and effort. High-speed serial support even includes non-standard baud rates such as 250 and 500 Kbaud. A reverse SMA antenna connector allows easy connection to any external antenna system.

The module features full 802.11 a/b/g compliance, auto-sensing TTL to 10/100 Mbps ethernet interface, and multiple operation modes (TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, Real COM, and RFC2217).

A serial command mode is available for configuration over the data port, and there is also a web console, Windows utility and Telnet console.

The WE-2100T is available in standalone or starter kit form.
