Outdoor wireless ethernet access point

Paqworks have introduced the AdsTec rugged wireless ethernet access point, which is based on the latest technologies and has a high transmission power of 1000 mW.

Designed to be reliable outdoors, these IP65-rated access points support all wireless standards such as 802.11 a, b, g and h on transmission frequencies of 2.4 and 5 GHz.

Each access point has a wide array of connection options with built-in 4-port switch as well as fibre-optic and RJ45 ethernet jacks. With a range of diverse antennas available the range of the access point can range into kilometres.

All data transmitted over the WLAN is encrypted and secured with WPA2/AES encryption algorithms defined in the 802.11i standard. MAC filters, hidden SSID and WEP 128 are also available.
