Hastings Data Loggers now has released the eXtra range of Tinytag loggers.

The eXtra models are classified as IP68 Rugged, meaning that they were designed to cope with harsh conditions, such as extremely low (-40°C) or high (+85°C) temperatures, exposure to mild corrosives, and are waterproof.

In addition, they offer a 16 K non-volatile memory which can hold nearly 7900 readings. This translates to more than 80 days of readings taken every 15 minutes.

The first model, the TGX-3080, comes with internal temperature sensor with a -40 to +85°C range. Model TGX-3020 uses an external probe and features a -40 to +125°C range. Model TGX-3520 is a two channel temperature logger, using two external probes and features a -40 to +125°C range. Model TGX-3580 is a dual channel temperature and relative humidity logger, and features a -30 to +85°C and 0 to 100% RH range.

Additional features include: four start options, including a magnetic 'trigger'; alarm indication (red LED); interchangeable probes for external versions (TGX-3020 and TGX-3520); min/max/actual readings; and three 'stop' options.
