Ultrasonic cleaning

Techspan ultrasonic cleaners clean a wide range of industrial parts with ultrasound. Parts to be cleaned are immersed in water. Ultrasound is then passed into the water, creating millions of microscopic bubbles, which continuously expand and collapse.

The resulting cavitational effect in the water provides the cleaning energy, and the 'soil' is literally driven off the immersed surfaces of the part. The liquid medium is usually water, with a small amount of inexpensive and environmentally safe detergent-type cleaning agent.

Ultrasonics gives superior, precision cleaning compared to other processes. It works on virtually all hard surfaces.

A major advantage of ultrasonics is its ability to precision clean tiny cracks, crevices, and blind holes, often without the need to disassemble. Parts are placed into a stainless steel basket, then into the ultrasonic cleaner which cleans the parts automatically. The ultrasonic cleaners have a timer, up to 15 minutes, which is more than sufficient time for most cleaning cycles, or the timer can be switched to continuous mode for manual operation.

Designed and manufactured in Germany, Techspan ultrasonic cleaners use thick, high quality industrial ceramic transducers. They are reliable, and the 35 kHz operating frequency provides optimum cleaning power and efficiency. All surfaces are stainless steel for lifetime durability.
