Solenoid Valve

Monday, 16 June, 2003 | Supplied by: Process Systems Pty Ltd

Process Systems Pty Ltd have released a new solenoid valve for the water tower 'bleed off' drain. The problem with current solenoids used in this application is they have a brass body and small orifice which can either corrode or block because of the agressive nature of the water with chemical additives.

The new series UP from process systems has a PVC body, and a direct acting viton plunger.

Port size is 1/2" BSP with a choice of 10mm or 12mm orifice and a working head of either 10 (1 bar) or 5 (0.5 bar) meters.

Because of the direct acting simplicity and chemical resistance of the working components this valve is also suitable for a variety of applications from mild chemical dosing to vacuum machines.

Power supply is 240, 110 and 24v AC only and the coils are complete with LED connector plugs. The valve is economically priced and quantity discounts are available for OEM applications.
