Simple, complete USB-based platform for data acquisition and signal conditioning

CompactDAQ hardware provides the plug-and-play simplicity of USB to sensor and electrical measurements on the benchtop, in the field and on the production line.

By combining the ease of use and low cost of a data logger with the performance and flexibility of modular instrumentation, NI CompactDAQ delivers fast and accurate measurements in a small, simple and affordable system.

19 new measurement modules are now supported by the NI CompactDAQ platform bringing the total number of available modules to 30. The new modules add measurements such as current I/O, RTD, ±60 V analog, 24-bit precision high-speed analog, resistance measurements and a universal module that measures strain, temperature, current, voltage and resistance, all with channel-channel isolation.

All modules are hot-swappable and autodetectable for simplified set-up, and offer up to 2300 VRMS of isolation to ensure PC and user safety. The system delivers four dedicated USB signal streams for synchronous analog and digital I/O for data-intensive applications including sound and vibration, mixed-signal automated test and high-speed data logging.

Priced from just $1640, the NI CompactDAQ system provides high performance with portability at a low cost.
