Rockwell Automation has released additions to its line of Allen-Bradley Guardmaster Minotaur safety relays, offering greater safety monitoring functionality at lower cost.

The Minotaur MSR100 offers versatile input configurations; nine new models of this relay family are now available. In addition to the MSR21L and MSR22LM for light curtains and the MSR23M for safety mats, delayed output, two-hand control, and expansion models are available. The family also offers Category 4 rating, and electronic fuses with removable terminals and solid state outputs on selected models.

Minotaur MSR200 uses plug-and-play expansion modules, and can provide up to 22 input circuits from various types of safety devices - such as light curtains, safety mats, interlock switches and e-stops - plus up to 10 output circuits, while reducing wiring and panel space.

The MSR200 microprocessor-based modular expandable relays also possess enhanced diagnostic and communications functionality, offering connectivity to communication networks such as DeviceNet, RS232 and RS485.
