PLC training

Omron Electronics has developed a series of compact PLC training consoles based on the CJ1M series CPUs.

The CJ1M trainers incorporate 10 digital inputs and six digital (transistor) outputs in-built in the CPU.

These points are configurable for use as general-purpose, interrupt, quick response, high speed and pulse inputs and/or outputs. The consoles also carry ethernet and analog cards and can be custom configured to cater for various training requirements.

Programming is easy with Omron's CX-Programmer v3.1, which is based on conventional PCL ladder logic and comments/symbols can be stored on board with a compact flash memory card.

Omron offers PLC courses ranging from introductory through to advanced, together with courses that can be written to meet specific requirements.
