Developed in conjunction with a leading NI Alliance integrator, LabVIEW users now have a classic data logger hardware alternative for data acquisition tasks.

With flexible, universal analog, digital and serial inputs, dataTaker hardware can be used for real-time data acquisition, in addition to being suitable for applications requiring standalone operation in remote or distributed locations with limited power supply.

The dataTaker instrument driver for LabVIEW provides a means to incorporate dataTaker data loggers in an open, programmable software environment, including mixing dataTaker and other I/O hardware.

The driver takes care of all the communications and data format issues allowing users to concentrate on the application rather than how to interface to the data logger.

The dataTaker data loggers have flexible analog, digital and serial inputs which allow them to be connected to a very broad range of sensors. There are no modules or special configuration switches required. The driver makes full use of the data storage capabilities of the data logger and will, by default, download any recent data not previously downloaded. Datataker data loggers include built-in data storage as well as removable plug-in memory card options for additional storage and data transfer options.
