The Synatel Instrumentation range of products is now available with Certification of Conformity for use in Explosive Atmospheres, Category 1 or Zone 20 areas.

The Minicap capacitance sensors are commonly used in the dust environment of the grain handling industry, with applications including level control and conveyor speed detection. The multi-voltage sensors are available with a choice of relay or Fet 2 wire output and are housed in a DIN standard 30 mm fully sealed encapsulated enclosure, which is able to be operated in a Zone 20 or Category 1 Hazardous Area.

An optional mounting housing of polypropylene material is available for extra protection or ease of mounting.

Synatel manufacture a range of proximity sensors, both inductive and capacitive, in a variety of enclosures ranging from a 12 mm diameter DC Voltage type up to 40 mm DIN Standard Limit Switch style. Multivoltage with relay output units are available with ATEX and IEC Ex Certification.

Also in the Synatel Product range are the Underspeed self-contained monitors for detecting stoppage of rotating or reciprocating plant and the capacitance level sensor for high/low level monitoring of bulk materials in Silos etc, all of which are ATEX or IEC Ex Certified.
