The Alfa-Tech hydraulic hose range has been developed to meet the requirements of ISO 3862 and the relevant SAE specifications.
The range is available in: Alfa-Tech 3000 (R17); Alfa-Tech 4000 (R12); Alfa-Tech 5000 (R13); Alfa-Tech 6000 (R15); Alfa-Tech 7000; and Alfa-Tech 8000.
The main feature of the range is its capability to withstand punishing conditions and to meet increasing pressure pulsing, flexing and temperature demands. It has achieved impulse life; over 1,000,000 impulse cycles when tested with the Alfagomma coupling system.
A major benefit of the range is its flexibility, which ensures greater life expectancy under flexing high-impulse conditions. The tube offers resistance to most modern petroleum-based hydraulic fluids, waterglycol and water-fire resistant hydraulic fluids with a standard temperature range of -40 to +120°C. It is available in sizes from ¼ to 2½" covering working pressures up to 8000 psi. The hose range is also available in a Supertuff cover that offers greater resistance to abrasion and impact in heavy-duty applications.
The range is suitable for industry applications such as mining, forestry, drilling, off-shore, OEM and the general hydraulic market.
