Dual setpoint alarm

The IDA is a dual setpoint alarm module that accepts a 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC input signal and generates two alarm setpoints with 1 to 99% dead band. The relays have changeover contacts which can switch 240 VAC at 5 A resistive. A scaleable non-isolated 4-20 mA or 0-10 VDC retransmission output is provided as well as a regulated 24 VDC loop supply to power 2 wire transmitters.

The relays have LED status indication on the front panel and can be configured for failsafe high or failsafe low operation.

A common application for this alarm is to measure water levels using a 2 wire ultrasonic which can be powered directly from the IDA and therefore eliminating the need for a separate DC power supply. As the IDA has high and low alarm relays, the field staff can be alerted to a change in water levels.

The module is supplied in an enclosure that can be DIN rail or equipment plate mounted and is powered from 120/240 VAC or 18-36 VDC.
