The FP-2015 real-time control module has expanded non-volatile flash memory of 512 MB, and it increases memory for extended data logging. Users can log up to 16 temperature channels for more than three months. More complex NI LabVIEW code with an increased onboard DRAM of 32 MB can also be run.

This addition to the FieldPoint 2000 real-time control family performs embedded user-defined data logging applications in industrial and rugged environments. While many data loggers simply offer basic alarming capabilities, the FP-2015 running embedded LabVIEW benefits from real-time data reduction.

Users can monitor and control remote distributed data acquisition using their web browser to connect up to 20 computers to the customised, embedded front panel of the FieldPoint module.

The FieldPoint 2000 family performs control implementations, such as multi-loop, cascade, feed forward, disturbance rejection, and multi-input/multi-output (MIMO) control. The FieldPoint 2000 family features a power supply voltage range from 11 to 30 VDC, a redundant power supply, and a battery backup of the real-time clock.

FieldPoint integrates with application development environments, including LabVIEW, Measurement Studio for Visual Studio, Microsoft Visual C++, and Microsoft Visual Basic.
