GE Industrial acquires International Fiber Systems

GE Industrial Systems, a unit of the General Electric, has acquired International Fiber Systems, a provider of advanced, digital fibre optic transmission products and systems for electronic security and intelligent transportation systems.

International Fiber makes analog and digital fibre optic transmission equipment for video, audio and data signals used in access control, fire, alarm, and video surveillance and detection systems. The company's products are also used in building automation and control as well as post-production and broadcast applications.
